As “Pride Month” officially kicks off, LGBT activists all around the country are hosting parades and celebrations showcasing their ever-growing culture.
Except this year in New York City, parade organizers decided police officers are too “harmful” to the LGBT community – and have issued a ban on their presence.
And once you hear the ridiculous reason why police “aren’t allowed” at their parade, you’re bound to be amazed at the sheer insanity.
To start, the anger and hatred towards those who risk their lives everyday to protect their local communities is out of control.
Schools brainwash children into thinking police are the bad guys.
Leftist cities around the country have called for their government to “defund the police.”
An elderly couple even had their house shot at because they flew a flag in front of their home in support of law enforcement.
And here we are yet again, with the latest attack on America’s law enforcement officers.
NYC Pride organizers issued a statement attacking police officers and accusing them of targeting LGBT folks.
In a deranged rant, a portion of their intent to ban police stated:
“NYC Pride seeks to create safer spaces for the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities at a time when violence against marginalized groups, specifically BIPOC and trans communities, has continued to escalate.
The sense of safety that law enforcement is meant to provide can instead be threatening, and at times dangerous, to those in our community who are most often targeted with excessive force and/or without reason.
NYC Pride is unwilling to contribute in any way to creating an atmosphere of fear or harm for members of the community…
Effective immediately, NYC Pride will ban corrections and law enforcement exhibitors at NYC Pride events until 2025.”
NYC Pride doesn’t want law enforcement participating as exhibitors – and they’ve even gone so far as to discuss finding private security and “volunteers” for their event.
But see, here’s the thing.
Whether one loves or hates the police, their presence is needed to keep people safe – especially at large controversial events like an LGBT parade.
And it may be part of the leftist agenda to bash the police, but as soon as the REAL bad guys like the criminals or violent agitators act up, those that wanted to criticize police officers are going to WISH the police were around to stop the real crooks.
Liberals aim for a peaceful utopia, but it isn’t based in reality.
There are bad guys in this world.
Criminals who cause others harm.
Violent rioters. Murderers. Kidnappers. Sexual predators.
But thanks to the selfless sacrifice of the law enforcement community, many officers have even laid down their own lives in the name of public service.
Police officers risk their lives daily by running towards danger, not away from it.
They deserve our respect.
