Kwek Yu Xuan was born 4 months early, at just under 25 weeks old.
Weighing only 7.5 ounces, doctors doubted she would ever survive.
But by the grace of God, the world’s smallest premature baby survived unbeatable odds – and is now finally safe in her own home – and just wait until you hear her story!
So many doctors are quick to simply write off a human life when things get tough.
When a mother is diagnosed with carrying a baby with special needs, doctors often try and convince her to abort her own baby.
And when a baby is born premature, instead of giving the mother hope, many doctors assume the baby just won’t make it.
But in the case of Kwek Yu Xuan, there was no choice other than to deliver her early, as her mother was suffering from pre-eclampsia – risking both of their lives.
When she was delivered via a c-section, Kwek Yu Xuan was so small and fragile, her precious lungs weren’t even fully developed yet.
Not to mention, her skin was incredibly sensitive, creating a unique challenge for those caring for her.
But the nurses and doctors rallied together to make it work, even getting creative and making homemade diapers to support her small body.
This precious baby continued to grow stronger and stronger until she was able to go home!
Both her parents and the medical community who cared for her were truly amazed.

“Baby Yu Xuan was just 212gms – barely the weight of a large apple – when she was delivered via emergency C-section in June last year. After 13 months in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, baby Yu Xuan was discharged home well.
She is likely the world’s lightest baby to have survived a premature birth,” the hospital said in a statement.
“We are happy for the little fighter and her family, and proud of the care provided by our team. Our best wishes to Little Yu Xuan as she continues to grow, thrive, and beat the odds every day.”
What an incredible miracle – and a beautiful story to advocate for life.
So many pro-aborts wrongly assume an abortion is necessary to save the life of the mother – but as this story shows – it simply isn’t true.
There are medical advances that allow a woman to deliver her baby – even if they are premature – and save both of their lives!p
And as Mommy Underground previously reported, there as so many babies who are born both early and small, who have survived.
All these babies need is the chance to be born.
Praise God for all the brave moms who endure difficult or uncertain pregnancies, never considering abortion as an option.
