Principal Fires Christian Teacher For Not Adopting “Transgender” Pronouns

One school had a loud and clear message to send – either accept and embrace the LGBT agenda or lose your job.

And this Ohio school thought they had “won” by firing a Christian public school teacher who refused to call “transgender” children by their “preferred” pronouns.

But the schoolteacher is fighting back and filed a federal lawsuit – and here’s what you need to know.

LGBT activists continue to claim they are all about being “inclusive” and accepting “everyone.”

Of course – this means only those who embrace their warped LGBT ideology.

Christians and conservatives continue to face public humiliation, discipline, and even jail time if they dare speak out against the “transgender” narrative.

Vivian Geraghty found herself in hot water with her school when she would not refer to a student by a pronoun different than their biological sex.

So, when two “transgender” students asked her to address them with their new “gender identities” instead of by their biological sex – Geraghty went to Principal Kacy Carter for direction.

It’s reported Carter claimed his own personal practice was to refrain from using pronouns that were inconsistent with a student’s biological sex – but Geraghty still didn’t have direction on how she should proceed.

But then all of a sudden, a meeting was called – and schoolteacher Vivian Geraghty was fired for refusing to go against her Christian beliefs to lie to children about their true gender by “affirming” their new gender pronoun.

LifeSite News reported:

“Myers, the curriculum and instruction director for the district, soon after joined Carter and Geraghty in a meeting. Myers told the teacher she must “set [her] religious convictions aside,” and then Principal Carter order her to write up a resignation letter, effectively firing her.

The defendants “continue to maintain a Policy requiring teachers to participate in the ‘social transition’ of students who express a ‘gender identity’ inconsistent with their sex by using names and pronouns consistent with the ‘gender identity’ and inconsistent with the students’ legal name and sex,” according to the lawsuits.

Myers and Carter effectively fired Geraghty by forcing her to resign over her decision to not comply with the policy due to her religious beliefs.”

Thankfully, the First Amendment protects individuals from being forced to violate their religious convictions to hold a job.

Alliance Defending Freedom took the case with Logan Spena as the attorney – and now Geraghty is fighting back – hopefully to continue to set the precedent that schools cannot force teachers to adopt the LGBT agenda.

LifeSite News continued:

“The First Amendment prohibits that abuse of power,” Spena said. “Jackson Local School District officials nonetheless forced Vivian to resign because she resisted this unconstitutional command and explained that it was her Christian faith that made her unable to participate in her students’ social transition.”

Good for Geraghty for fighting back!

We have no idea how many teachers continue to face disciplinary action for not adopting the LGBT agenda but walk away in silence.

To push back against the radical indoctrination of our children, we need teachers, coaches, and anyone else who has faced disciplinary action over “transgender” pronouns to stand strong- and fight back.

Our children are watching – and those who are on the right side of history will be remembered for their courage against the LGBT machine.
