With liberal politicians everywhere encouraging gender transitions in children – it’s a sigh of relief to learn Texas is fighting back against the madness.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott has stated “transgender” drugs and surgeries for minors are illegal – and a form of child abuse.
But he’s not stopping there – and just wait until you see how he’s advocating for children all across Texas.
It’s unconscionable that a politician would actually pass legislation allowing minors to “change genders” – but in leftist states like California bills like these are the norm.
But not in Texas.
Texas is laying down the law – and united in stopping the abuse of children in their state.
In fact, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton claimed that sex-change operations and puberty blockers prescribed to children is considered child abuse under Texas law.
Governor Abbott backed him up, and has ordered the Texas Department of Family Protective Services to investigate suspected child abuse cases.
LifeSite News reported:
“Each of the ‘sex change’ procedures and treatments enumerated above, when performed on children, can legally constitute child abuse” under state law, the Republican attorney general wrote.
“When considering questions of child abuse, a court would likely consider the fundamental right to procreation, issues of physical and emotional harm associated with these procedures and treatments, consent laws in Texas and throughout the country, and existing child abuse standards.”
Amen!
So many sick parents project their pro-LGBT views onto children – and even allow their own children to undergo “gender transitions” at an early age.
It’s abusive, but it’s common in so many places!
In California, a new law even allows minors to get “transgender” procedures without parental consent!
Horrific.
And even parents who object to their child “transitioning” are being told to stand down.
One father lost custody of his child for life – simply because he refused to support his son getting hormone therapy, fearing the physical and psychological harm it would cause him.
Thankfully Texas has put every adult on notice that pushing hormone drugs and gender surgeries onto children is illegal – and that those that do so anyway will face serious consequences.
LifeSite News continued:
“The Texas Family Code is clear — causing or permitting substantial harm to the child or the child’s growth and development is child abuse. Courts have held that an unnecessary surgical procedure that removes a healthy body part from a child can constitute a real and significant injury or damage to the child,” Paxton continued.
Let’s hope Texas paves the way to inspire more states to stand up to the child abuse that is being pushed down from the highest office in the land.
Biden has made it clear he supports “transgenderism” in children, and has continued to put forth harmful pro-LGBT policies that hurt children.
At this point, it’s only the conservative states with strong politicians who have a backbone that have been able to stop some of Biden’s madness.
Even if a child “thinks” they are a different gender – they need counseling – not affirmation that they should choose whatever gender they feel like that day.
Our children need adults to fight on their behalf.
Thankfully Texas politicians rose to the occasion – and have finally said enough is enough.
