President Biden is utterly obsessed with expanding abortions both here and around the world and you won’t believe what he’s done now.
Using COVID-19 as an excuse to promote “safety,” his administration just allowed the unthinkable.
And thanks to his most recent actions, abortions are sure to increase at a record rate – and without medical supervision.
It used to be that in order to get an abortion, a woman had to actually walk into an abortion clinic.
Let’s be clear – an abortion clinic is a dangerous place for a woman – and some don’t even make it out alive.
But instead of making it harder for women to get abortions – Biden’s team is determined to make it even easier.
Previously, thanks to the leadership of President Trump, the Supreme Court stated abortion pills had to be picked up from a doctor’s office, health clinic, or hospital and weren’t available at the local pharmacy.
Some states even required women to take the pill in the physical presence of a doctor in case something went wrong, prohibiting the use of telemedicine to obtain them.
But now, everything has changed.
Reversing the Trump administration’s decision to ban abortion pills distributed by mail, Biden’s team has now allowed it.
Which means, a woman can now get her abortion pills delivered in the mail – without the physical supervision of a doctor.
All she has to do is have a valid prescription and her pills are delivered by the mailman and she can end the life of her baby.
Absolutely heartbreaking.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Commissioner Janet Woodcock thinks allowing women to abort their own babies through the mail is perfectly “safe” and lessens their chance of catching COVID-19.
Of course, this is absolutely ridiculous.
Once again, leftist politicians use COVID-19 as an excuse to enact their radical policies, claiming they are just trying to keep people safe.
Pro-life leaders were naturally outraged upon hearing the news and sounded the alarm on the devastating consequences that are sure to come.
LifeSite News reported:
“The Biden Administration makes catastrophic loss of life by mail its legacy in choosing to weaken the minimal health and safety in place to protect women from the deadly consequences of Chemical Abortion Pills,” Students for Life Action President Kristan Hawkins said.
“Sending deadly pills through the mail without any pre-screening or follow up care is convenient and cost effect for Corporate Abortion, but women will pay the price along with countless preborn infants.”
Of course, the FDA claims they are only allowing mail abortions during the pandemic and this move is “temporary”– but it’s likely to stay put.
To start, when are officials ever going to say the pandemic is truly over?
Even with folks getting the vaccine, health “experts” are still telling folks to wear masks and social distance.
If there’s any silver lining, it’s that many states have rules prohibiting telemedicine appointments to gain access to the abortion pill – and these laws still remain in effect.
Regardless, thanks to the FDA, more babies are guaranteed to die.
Shame on Biden’s team for exploiting a pandemic in order to increase their pro-abort agenda.
