Cultivate Thankfulness In Your Children With These Fun Family Acts

  1. Think of others while you are out

When you are at the grocery store, let the kids pick out a can or two each of food to donate to a food drive or shelter.

Or, ask your children to make a list of things they use every day, like toothbrushes, combs, and socks, and explain to them that those are things that many people don’t have.

See which of those daily necessities they would like to help someone with, go out and buy it together, and have them drop it off at the chosen center.

This will bring attention to being thankful for things we often take for granted and help them instill a sense of worth to what is around them.
