While states around the country continue to work to lock up child sexual predators – California is working to set them free.
A frightening investigation reveals THOUSANDS of sexual predators in California are spending less than a year in jail… before they are set free.
And once you learn what’s happening in California you are bound to be horrified.
Those who harm children should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Children are innocent – and can’t yet protect themselves from the evil of this world.
And while every state should have a vested interest in getting the bad guys off the streets – yet again liberal California is breaking ties with the rest of the nation and working to set them free.
The Daily Mail reported:
“More than 7,000 sex offenders were convicted of ‘lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age’ but were let out of prison the same year they were incarcerated, data from the California Megan’s Law database says.
Others who committed some of the worst child sex crimes on the statute books served similarly short sentences, including 365 pedophiles convicted of continuous sexual abuse of a child who spent less than 12 months in prison, 39 cases of sodomy with a child under 16, and three cases of kidnapping a child under 14 ‘with intent to commit lewd or lascivious acts’, according to the data.
Former Los Angeles sex crimes prosecutor Samuel Dordulian told DailyMail.com he was ‘shocked’ by the statistics and described them as ‘frightening for society’.”
It is frightening – and downright horrifying.
What deterrence do these sexual predators have from committing further acts?
Spending a few months behind bars seems like a small price to pay for the most ruthless predators in our country.
Not to mention – some rapists and sexual predators don’t even get jail time…
… putting children at an even bigger risk of being assaulted by a serial predator.
In the past, sexual predators were punished harshly – and spent years behind bars.
But now, even though there are more sexual assaults happening than are reported, those who get caught only get a slap on the wrist.
In fact, criminals who steal cars tend to get harsher sentencing than rapists!
It’s truly unconscionable.
And at this rate, as sentencing gets even more lenient – our children will pay the price as predators will know they can do whatever they want and walk away without any consequences.
There’s a difference between supporting criminal reform of our justice system and giving a slap on the wrist to those who harm children.
California truly has become one of the worst states imaginable, with their horrific and dangerous policies.
From embracing the LGBT agenda, to creating “transgender” and abortion safe havens for teens, to their leniency with sexual predators – it’s clear those running the show don’t care about protecting the most vulnerable members of society.
Now more than ever, our children need protection – not only from sexual predators – but from the adults who are supposed to be a shield in their lives.
Child sexual predators will always find ways to work with children.
And when places like California loosen the punishment of pedophiles in the name of “LGBT rights” or their latest crusade – the only ones who will truly be harmed are our children.
Let’s hope California gets commonsense leadership calling the shots soon – the lives of our children depend on it.
